21st April, the commemoration Day of Sa’adi , the honored Personage of Persian poetry.

8 centuries ago, in the beautiful city of Shiraz, a genius was born who became known as the Master of Speech and Persian poetry. After basic studies Saadi started a long journey and explored other lands like India, Morocco, Rome, Damascus, Kufa and many other regions for 30 years. As the result for decades of traveling and exploring, Saadi created two literature masterpieces, “Golestan” and “Boustan” which are the reflection of all the experiences collected during his journeys and of course his unexampled ingenuity. Gulistan is one of two major works of the Persian poet Sa’adi in prose, and it is said to be one of the most widely read books ever produced. Bustan is the other important book of Saadi in poetry contains the fruits of Saadi's long experience and his judgements upon life, and is illustrated by a vast collection of anecdotes.
Every year on 21st April, a commemoration is held to venerate Sa’adi as the honored personage of Persian poetry. We would like to offer you our Shiraz gardens tour by visiting the Persian gardens and magnificent tombs of the most prominent representatives of the Persian literature, Hafez and, Sa’adi.
