Golestan Palace in Tehran


Golestan Palace, also known as palace of flowers is the vestige of Iranian civilization that recently has been registered on the UNESCO World Heritage .The mansion was built in Safavid era and was renovated in the Qajar dynasty. The complex consists of 17 palaces, museums and halls in different locations for special purposes. It is one of the most beautiful and oldest royal palaces in Tehran and it was the official residence of royal king’s family during Qajar and Pahlavi era.
