Meybod Town

 Iranians marked birthday anniversary of prominent poet Abul-Qasem Ferdowsi on January 21. Ferdowsi was born in 940 AD in a small village near Toos in Khorasan Razavi Province.

He is best known for his magnum opus, Shahnameh, Book of the Kings in English , which is a classic in epic Persian poetry and recounts Iran's mythical and historical past.

As a Persian masterpiece, Shahname represents the remarkable richness and vitality of Iranian culture and civilization . The book provided inspiration for many authors over the centuries and it was translated several times into other languages.

Shiran Heritage Hotel in Isfahan

 Iran has many magnificent old mansions that once belonged to noble families or royalty. Fortunately, an increasing number of them are being restored and turned into heritage hotels.

Kharanaq Village

 Kharanaq, which means ‘birthplace of sun’, is the oldest origin of Ardakan city. The village is divided into two parts: the Old Town, which is almost completely abandoned and its oldness belongs pre-Islamic era and the New Town, where some families continue to live.

The village was constructed with sun-baked mud bricks, forming one of the largest collections of adobe buildings in Iran. With its labyrinth of passageways as well as impressive buildings such as a tiny mosque, a shaking minaret, and an old caravansary , Kharanaq is well worth a visit.

Fin Garden in Kashan

 Great example of classic Persian Garden and Islamic architecture, Fin Garden located in Kashan, is a historical UNESCO listed Persian garden. It contains Kashan's Fin Bath, where Amir Kabir, the Qajarid chancellor, was murdered by an assassin sent by King Nasereddin Shah.  Completed in 1590, the Fin Garden is one of the oldest extant gardens in Iran. Shahe Cheragh Holy Shrine

 The Shah Cheragh holy shrine is a funerary monument and mosque in Shiraz, Iran, housing the tomb of martyred brother of Imam Reza, the 8th Shia Imam who took refuge in the city during the Abbasid persecution of Shia Muslims.
