UNESCO World heritage site, Takht-e-Soleiman is one of the oldest zoroastrian temples in the world which is located on a hill with fortified walls. This amazing place is an archaeological site in West Azarbaijan from Sasanian Empire. It lies midway between Urmia and Hamadan, very near the town of Takab. A natural spring feed a lagoon inside the main area of the temple. There are also ruins of an even older temple from which you can have an amazing view to the main temple. Although it lies in remote zone it absolutely worth to visit
