Eul Goli Park in Tabriz

El-Goli also known as Shah Guli is the name of a large park in Tabriz, where has been the campus of former Qajar Dynasty's Crown Princes. It has an artificial lake surrounded by side walk in four sides. There is also a building in the middle of the lake, with traditional architecture of Tabriz. In South of the lake there is a hill covered by trees. Two beautiful stairways connecting the side walks to the top of the hill. At top of the hill there is a hotel building with modern architecture.
This garden gives you the opportunity to meet locals and breath fresh air while enjoying the green atmosphere around. If you are lucky you may see boat riders who circle around the pool with a drummer whose music takes you to the ancient times!

Iranian Tea

Iran has always been famous for its strong black tea which is often supplemented with aromatic spices as flavor. Iranian tea or Chaee as it is called in Persian, is a black tea which is prepared in a very specific manner. Iranian tea comes in a variety of subtle flavors, but its defining characteristic is its deep reddish-brown color, which tea-drinkers can choose to dilute with water depending on their preference.  Our guests from Poland ask their tour guide Sahar” where is the best place to enjoy tea in Iran?” She believes that there is no one best place. Every Tea houses, especially in old bazaars of ancient cities such as Tehran, Tabriz, Shiraz and Yazd are ready to serve you a piping hot glass of tea with the words Nushe Jan! (Bon appetite).

Walking through the historical Bazaar of Tabriz.

The old bazaars in cities of Iran were not only the traditional trading center but also the meeting point for social and cultural interactions. Walk through the maze of intersected chambers where the sellers drink tea and speak loudly in very sweet Turkish dialect, buy souvenirs from thousands of shops called “Hojre” selling very high-quality handmade shoes, jewelry, delicious sweets and heavenly beautiful handmade carpets and feel the Iranian pop culture in the grand bazaar of Tabriz.
