Iranian Dress code

Iran, a great country that is famous for remarkable architecture, ancient history and best-known poets and thinkers, is a desirable destination for travelers. Iran is a mysterious and misunderstood destination with many contrasts. Yet, traveling to Iran doesn’t have to be a weird or difficult experience at all. So, to avoid surprises and make the most of your trip, we, as local Iranian tour operator, strongly recommend you to dress like a local. Dressing like a local might also change your approach to travelling, in that you may engage with the culture and the people, the environment a lot more. A modest dress code is all what you need to consider for clothing in Iran. As you see in this photo, our guests from Netherlands tried to wear dress like locals. For women, a pair of lose pants or skirt, a long sleeve shirt and a head scarf is perfect. For men, generally, a pair of lose pants or jeans with T-shirt is recommended.

Iranian Saffron Ice Cream is among the greatest sweets on the planet

CNN provided a list of some of the greatest sweets on the planet, and proudly Iranian Saffron Ice Cream is among them. According to dessert buff, Persian ice cream is one of the most delicious and luxurious ice cream in the world. Persian ice cream (or Bastani in Farsi) is a creamy ice cream that includes pistachio nuts, saffron, rose water and flakes of frozen clotted cream. For the complete ice cream experience, though, opt for a traditional Iranian ice cream sandwich of saffron ice cream between two thin wafers. When our tour guide Leila, asked our Dutch travelers what the best dessert in the world is, they stated that “Iranian sweet course absolutely gets a mention. “
