Mesmerizing tile working of Nasir Mosque in Shiraz


As an Islamic nation, it is no surprise that Iran has thousands of mosques. Many of Iran’s mosques are aesthetically pleasing, with some that are all out stunning. Located in Shiraz, the magnificent Nasir Mosque is one of the city’s most iconic sites. Indeed, it is often said to be one of the most beautiful mosques across the globe.












 Due to the usage of a considerable number of pink-colored tiles for its interior design, it is named in popular culture as the Pink Mosque. No longer in use as a place of worship, the Pink Mosque is situated near Shahe Cheragh holy shrine. It was built during Qajar dynasty rule of Iran. Visitors can look and take eye catching photos inside and admire glorious views from outside.
