Nomadic clothing

Men and women in Iran wear different types of clothes according to tradition, history and location. Iran has long been associated with color thanks to its costumes and food. The love of color extends to everyday life as well with people donning garments of every conceivable color. Iranians believe that Color plays a major role in their lives by the way it influences their moods and emotions. As you see in this photo, our curious travelers tried on nomadic clothing. The professional tour guide of Uppersia team, Sahar, accompanied these crowds and she stated that the passengers acknowledged that they feel more confident and comfortable wearing brighter colors after a visit to Iran. Are you interested in these kind of traditional clothes or you prefer casual style?

Puppet and Toy Museum of Iran.

In the past, Iranian kids used to play with simple and handmade dolls and toys made of pieces of textiles, wood sticks or small stones found in the house. More advanced toys were made by the potters or carpenters. These simple toys, still found under piles of old clothes in the grandmothers’ closets, show a piece of the Iranian pop culture.
