Our traditions are
vastly different from those in other countries and cultures. These traditions
may vary depending on the city and People’s beliefs. One of the most esteemed
days for Muslims is Ashura and every year many
people across the globe attend Ashura ceremony. Day of Ashura is the day of sorrow and grief for Shia Muslim and all
the people who love Hussain from different religions. Shia muslim dressed in
black, take part in the Ashura processions to commemorate the martyrdom
anniversary of Imam Hussain and all 72 of his companions. This year, Muslims
will honor Imam Hossein by participating in Ashura ceremony on the sunset of Wednesday,

Nomadic clothing
Men and
women in Iran wear different types of clothes according to tradition, history
and location. Iran has long been associated with color thanks to its costumes
and food. The love of color extends to everyday life as well with people
donning garments of every conceivable color. Iranians believe that Color plays
a major role in their lives by the way it influences their moods and emotions.
As you see in this photo, our curious travelers tried on nomadic clothing. The
professional tour guide of Uppersia team, Sahar, accompanied these crowds and
she stated that the passengers acknowledged that they feel more confident and
comfortable wearing brighter colors after a visit to Iran. Are you interested in
these kind of traditional clothes or you prefer casual style?
