Mirror working in Golestan Palace

Mirror work can be traced back to 13th century Persia. The use of mirrors and the craft of mirror work stem from traditional Islamic beliefs—the mirrors help to trap or blind the evil eye and reflecting bad luck.
All of the stunning mirror working elements have come hand in hand in creating a truly precious Persian Palace, indeed fit for royalty. Strolling through the different areas of Persian buildings may sometimes leave tourists wondering about the mysterious and luxurious lives that were lived here!
