Mohammad Reza Shajarian, the legend of Iranian traditional singing passed away.
He was the undisputed master of Persian traditional and classical singing and is regarded as a national treasure by both musicians and music lovers.
Shajarian was also famous for singing the poems of great poets and mystical Sufis such as Hafez, Molana and Saadi Shirazi.
"From God we come and to Him we return."
