Ordibehesht 15 in the Iranian calendar which falls on May 5 this year, has been designated as National Shiraz Day. Every year many people travel to Shiraz to celebrate this day because of Shiraz’s reach history, outstanding culture and of course its mild weather in May. On the occasion of national Shiraz Day, every year special programs such as reciting Hafez poems and serving traditional foods are held on this day. However, the spread of the corona virus has led to the cancellation of this event.
