Golestan Palace

Golestan Palace occupies pride of place in Tehran's history. This heritage site is a complex of buildings and gardens initially built by the Qajar rulers and used as their court and residence. It was finally used by the Pahlavi dynasty as an official space largely for formal receptions.It's ended as being an amalgamation of Persian and European art and architecture. There are many buildings such as Mirror hall, Shamsol Emare, Diomand Hall, and Salam Hall in the palace and it will take a large part of the day to see it all, so keep sufficient time aside.

Happy International Museum Day

International Museum Day is a global day celebration that takes place annually on May 18. The International Museum Day is celebrated each year with a different theme. The theme for International Museum Day 2020 is Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion. This year, however, the fortieth anniversary of International Museum Day is different for museums that remain shut down in countries dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

National Museum of Iran

The National Museum of Iran is one of the oldest museums dedicated to ancient culture. This modest museum represents Iran’s rich history. The interior includes a collection of ceramics, potteries, stone figures and carvings, mostly taken from excavations at Persepolis in Fars province, Khuzestan province, Tehran province and Golestan province. There are quite a few art craft from the site of Persepolis. As you see in this photo, the ancient objects from Persepolis include a magnificent human-headed capital. It is great to view these treasure before you actually visit that wonderful site.

Spanish guests in Tehran

Iran is known for being one of the most civilized of the Persian nations. The country is relatively safe, peaceful, and stable. Iranian people are also noted for their warm hospitality and nature. Foreigners may receive curious looks, but this is often followed by cheery waves and attempts to strike up a conversation. A friendly Spanish bunch with Azade explored Iran in a 10-day trip and we’re so glad to hear that they had good vibes about Iran.
