American Travelers in Iran

Packed with over 5,000 years of history, Iran is a destination everyone must experience at least once in their lifetime. From the ancient Persian Empire to the Zoroastrians temples, the countless mosques, and even the modern cities like Tehran, there is so much to see that one visit will not be enough.
Our American guests who visited Iran last year believed that Iran is extremely safe, with the friendliest people you’ve ever met who go out of their way to make sure you’re safe and having a good time.   Traveling solo is safe, but as Americans, you will be traveling on a tour since it is required, so that’s even another safety layer. The visa process is more complicated than in many other countries, but Uppersia helps you get your visa by guiding you every step of the way.

Communicate with Local Iranian

There’s nothing like traveling to another country where the people speak another language to make you feel adventurous. Chatting with the locals is a sure-fire way to better understanding the local way of life and generally people. If there’s one thing you will surly love during your trip to Iran is its people .Iranian' interest in foreign travelers would be particular. They will be predisposed to chat to you if you are friendly and curious to hear what you are doing in their town. Cilia, our Spanish guest, was keen on chatting with locals and hopefully she relished the opportunity of chattering about Isfahan with an Iranian gentleman in Jame Mosque.

Persian Hospitality

When you’re traveling, being welcomed by a little holiday cheers means even more. Hats off to all the hosts who go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. Elnaz is one of the longest-standing Uppersia member who welcomes our guests from all corners of the world to get acquainted with an Iranian family, experience a food gathering and get familiar with our culture. What this crowd seem to appreciate the most, besides her style of cooking, is her warm and generous hospitality.
