attractions that will amaze you in Kashan:
Fin Garden:
The beautiful and glorious Fin Garden is the valuable green gem that has been left in the heart of central desert from Safavid dynasty. Fin Garden is one of the nine Persian gardens that have been inscribed as a chain world heritage site by the UNESCO. The base of this garden is related to Buyid dynasty and other elements like the palace, the entrance, the bath, the tower and the fortifications are added to the garden during Safavid and Qajarid dynasties.
Maranjab Desert:
The wonderful and endless scenery of golden sand dunes, the magical salt
lake and the shining salt marsh around it, the starry sky and the ancient
Safavid caravanserai are the reasons why Maranjab is amazing! This desert is
located 60 kilometers away from Kashan and is known as the most popular desert
destination in Iran. The rural houses and the restored caravanserais used as
ecolodges, make Maranjab a safe place for desert tours.
Nush-Abad underground city:
This underground town in the north of Kashan, which reminds mysterious
locations in mythical stories and films, has been built about 1500 years ago
during Sassanid dynasty. It is believed that this city, which is known as the
biggest underground city of the world, has been used as a refuge for hiding
from the invaders and a place to spend the hot and dry summers of this desert
land during different ancient eras.
Tabatabai house:
This house is one the most famous historical houses in Iran with architectural properties of an original Iranian house including Hashti( a roofed hall), chambers, a lush yard with old trees a turquoise pond at the center and numerous rooms around. Tabatabai House, which is about 5000 square meters, was built during 13th Hijri century for the wealthy Tabatabai family. This monument is known for its fascinating ornaments like elegant stuccos, shiny stained glass windows and well-formed arcs and columns.
