The Mideast's tallest pedestrian suspension bridge in Iran

For some, the thought of crossing a swinging bridge, suspended hundreds of feet in the air, is exhilarating. While others either cross as quickly as possible, or consider the merits of staying put. High and handsome amid beautiful Iran scenery, Meshgin shahr Suspension Bridge offers travelers and locals a peculiar, jaw-dropping experience. The Mideast's tallest pedestrian suspension bridge was inaugurated in 2014, inviting walkers to brave a narrow path running 80 meters above the valley floor at its highest point. Meshgin shahr Suspension Bridge in Ardabil province, a record-breaking 365 meters long and two meters wide, is being constructed on the Khiavchai River.  Going on a ZipLine around the bridge and also crossing over the glassy part of it, are exciting activities that you can find nowhere in Iran. The availability of suitable amenities and the location of the bridge in a forest park is another reason for the popularity of this tourist attraction. The entire area is in view which makes for a perfect photo opportunity.  You will not forgive yourself if you don’t take pictures to remember the view from the middle of this breathtaking bridge.
