Marvelous Hengam Island

Islands are one of the most stunning attractions in the planet sand where you can relax under rustling palms and gaze at a serene blue sea. The exotic islands offer an exceptional opportunity to get away from daily routine and immerse yourself in a mixture of nature, wildlife, history and culture. The Persian Gulf, surround southern Iran and needless to say that, give a special beauty to our country. There are four smaller islands near Qeshm Island adjacent to the Strait of Hormuz, which are called Hengam, Larak, Hormuz and Naz. We want to take you on a boat and pass through the waters of the Persian Gulf to represent Hengam Island, one of the most spectacular islands in our country. This truncated cone-shaped island off the southern coast of Qeshm is surrounded by impressive soft-coral reefs that offer great diving. This calcareous and generally low-lying island is also known for its wildlife, including birds, gazelles and dolphins. The main sights of Hengam are the English harbor buildings along with the coal storage, the Portuguese shipwrecks, and aquatic animals such as turtles, dolphins, corals, and sharks. The main economic activity of Hengam friendly people is fishing. Sand-covered coasts of the Island is a good place where visitors can rest and enjoy eating seafood in simple eateries.
