We want to take you on a boat and pass through the waters of the Persian Gulf to represent Hengam Island, one of the most spectacular islands in our country. This truncated cone-shaped island off the southern coast of Qeshm is surrounded by impressive soft-coral reefs that offer great diving. This calcareous and generally low-lying island is also known for its wildlife, including birds, gazelles and dolphins. The main sights of Hengam are the English harbor buildings along with the coal storage, the Portuguese shipwrecks, and aquatic animals such as turtles, dolphins, corals, and sharks. The main economic activity of Hengam friendly people is fishing. Sand-covered coasts of the Island is a good place where visitors can rest and enjoy eating seafood in simple eateries.
