Movies are great. They make you laugh, make you cry, and make
you feel every feeling in between. They can teach you about people you don’t
know, people you do know, and even help you better understand yourself. They
are created by some of the most brilliant artistic minds, and often star the
most beautiful people, our species has produced. They are glamorous, exciting,
and important. All of this is what makes the prospect of attending a film
festival so alluring. The Fajr Film
Festival is an incredibly well-known event held in Iran every year on the anniversary
of the Iranian revolution. The festival, started in 1982, under the supervision
of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran. The Fajr International
Film Festival is the most important Iranian cinema festival, which has been
held in Tehran since the middle of February each year. So far, thirty-five courses have
been held at the Fajr International Film Festival and the thirty-sixth Fajr
Film Festival is holding in February 2018. The title of "Simorgh"
from the seventh festival period was seriously raised, which has continued
until today and given to the best film, best director, best actor and so on. Now
"Honorary Diploma" is another award for the Fajr Film Festival. Also,
Fajr International Theater Festival is another important festivals in Iran,
which is held every year in the Fajr decade from 1-23 April. The festival is
often competitive, with a variety of sections, such as the stage show, the
international section, the radio show section, and the street show. Going to the Fajr
Film and Theater Festivals allow us to bury ourselves in movies and setting, a
process that could always brought our lives so much meaning.
