Iranian visa on arrival extended to 90 days.



  News agency of Iran’s cultural heritage organization announced that: “according to the increasing number of foreign tourists traveling to Iran in recent two years, providing the essential services like accommodation, tours and visa for tourists have been considered as an important policy by the government.”
  
 Until Last year Iranian visa on arrival (VOA) used to get expired after 15 days, but the government decided to extend its validity to 30 days and Iranian agents tried to simplify the process of receiving visa for applicants of visiting Iran.

 And now according to citizens of 190 countries using the facility of receiving Iranian visa on arrival and also the tourists request for a longer residence, the ministry of foreign affairs and the cultural heritage organization decided to extend the visa on arrival’s validity to 90 days.

 Iranian visa on arrival can be received in nine cities’ airports, including: Tehran (Imam Airport), Shiraz, Isfahan, Mashhad, Tabriz, Bandar-Abbas, Laarestan, Kish Island and Qeshm Island. In four other airports, including Orumieh, Ahvaz, Yazd and Mehr-abad Airport in Tehran prearrangement of Iran’s visa services has been done and soon, tourists can receive their visa on arrival in these four airports, too.
