More pleasant than the sound of love's speech, naught I heard;

Needless to say, Persian literature is a key component of rich history and ancient culture of Iran. Omer Khayyam, Sa’adi, Mowlavi, Ferdowsi, and Hafez (also spelled Hafiz)are among the influential figures of Persian’ poetry. Hafez, as one of the greatest composers of lyric poetry, is a well-known poet for all of Iranians and many bards in the whole world. Serious attempts to introduce the Persian poet to the West took place in Germany by Goethe, a devotee of Hafez. You can walk the streets of Shiraz and feel the atmosphere which delighted Hafez’s mind as an inspiration for creating such spiritual and moral poetry. Many people believe in his miraculous verses to such an extent that they have a deep connection with these eloquent poems. To them the poetry of Hafez is a form of meditation on divine perfection. Serious attempts to introduce the Persian poet to the West took place in Germany by Goethe, a devotee of Hafez. Every year on 11th October, a commemoration is held to venerate Hafez as the honored personage of Persian poetry. We would like to offer you our Shiraz gardens tour by visiting the Persian gardens and magnificent tombs of the most prominent representatives of the Persian literature, Hafez and, Sa’adi.
