17th WFTGA convention in Iran.

WFTGA convention (World Federation of Tourist Guide Association) is a nongovernmental tourism organization. The aim of founding this association is promoting and connecting tourist guides who are known as the ambassadors of each country's culture. This association has more than 200000 members from 70 countries.

This year, WFTGA2017, known as one of the biggest tourism events, is held in Iran. For many of the WFTGA members, it is the first time that they are exploring the valuable treasures of Persia. The pre-tour includes visiting Dome of Soltaniyeh in Zanjan, known as one of the largest brick dome in the world and also a deep explore in the ancient city of Hegmataneh in Hamedan. Post-tour includes visiting Shiraz, home to Persian poems and glorious remains of Persepolis, Yazd, the wonderful city of adobes and wind towers and at last Isfahan the world known masterpiece of Islamic architecture.

The 17th World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations opened on January 29 and is going to be finished on February 6th. Uppersia team as a small member of Iranian tourism society, hopes all of the tourist guides to have a wonderful time in Iran and to leave our country with good memories and useful information gained during WFTGA2017.
